RocketBallz Stage 2 Driver

Our Longest just got Longer-ier.
The RBZ Stage 2 driver gives you a big, confidence-building clubface in a head engineered to promote fast swing speed. That’s a killer combo for players who like to get after it with a big swing to launch the ball long. TaylorMade engineers accomplished yet another remarkable feat in metalwood mastery by increasing the size of the clubface (4100 square millimeters) while also improving the aerodynamic properties of the clubhead.
In addition, our innovative Thick-thin Crown technology saves substantial weight that’s redistributed to move the CG lower and more forward, which promotes a high launch angle, low spin-rate and faster ball speed, all of which promote maximum distance. Add the lightweight 50-gram Fujikura RocketFuel shaft and the ability to adjust the loft and face angle and you’ve got a driver worthy of the description “RocketBallz-ier.”
The crown features a unique black, orange and gray decal designed to make it easier to frame the ball opposite the center of the clubface, and easier to detect exactly how the clubhead is aimed to give you confidence that the face is aligned exactly the way you want it before you start your takeaway.
- Faster and longer than the original RocketBallz driver.
- Expansive 4,100 square-millimeter clubface gives the golfer substantially more face area.
- Inverted Cone Technology milled into the inner side of the larger clubface expands the portion of the face that delivers high ball speed.
- Improved aerodynamics reduces drag over the head to promote faster clubhead speed.
- Thick-Thin crown provides lower and more-forward CG location promoting faster ball speed, high launch and low spin.
- TaylorMade Loft-Sleeve technology offers 7 standard and 5 upright loft options to add ±1.5° to each of the available standard lofts: 9.5 (which can be adjusted up to 11° or down to 8°) 10.5 (which can be adjusted up to 12° or down to 9°) and HL 13 (which can be adjusted up to 14.5° or down to 11.5°).
- Black clubface, non-glare white crown and new crown decal all promote easy alignment.
- Ultra-light Fujikura RocketFuel 50 graphite shaft (50 grams) promotes fast swing speed.

When I purchased the Stage 2 RBZ, I was looking for a driver that could give me about 20 extra yards and that could be adjusted help a hook. After hitting several drivers, this one felt the smoothest and looks good when your standing over the ball. The ball jumps off of the club and carries significantly farther than my old driver. Thanks Taylormade for making an awesome driver I can compete with...

Received my new RBZ Stage 2 Driver in the mail today. I got the 10.5 model and immediatley adjusted it up high to make it 12 degrees. Adjustment was simple and quick. I'm not a long hitter and always have had problems hitting a driver straight so up until today I only carried a RBZ 3 wood. After getting in better physical shape I decided it was time to put driver back in the bag. I tested all the latest models before ordering and the RBZ2 just felt the best. I headed to my regular 9 hole practice course to give it try. I've played this course at least 100 times and my best tee off on the 1st hole only went about 230 yards. My 1st swing with the RBZ2 driver mesured 271 on my skycaddie. I was stunned. The ball exploded off the face high and long. I'm still in shock. Instead of the usual 8 iron to the green I hit my 56 degree wedge. 2 putts and a par. WOW!!! I averaged 40+ yards distance increase on the 4 other driver holes I played. I couldn't be more excited to get out there tomorrow for 18 holes on the big course. Now I have the one thing I never had, Distance off the TEE. Thanks TaylorMade.

Been having problems with the slice on my Drives. I have been using stiff shafts for years so I decided to buy the HL with the Reg Flex shaft. Wow, finally hitting fairways again. Putting it out there around 260-280. Can't say enough about this club just feels great and the sound when you hit it on the screws is awesome.

I bought this club today and took it straight to the driving range. I've played less than 10 rounds of golf ever. I got a bucket of 75 took my first 5 swings and hit nothing but air. my last 10 balls or so were 300+ yard bombs that all went pretty straight (would have landed in fairway). I'm no golfer so I'm gonna say this is a pretty good club for beginners based off of my experience today.

Here's a review not only for the recreational players, but to all the tournament and high school players as well.
I play high school golf and participate many tournaments but the one club iv'e never been able to control is my driver. I thought it was time to upgrade from my Superfast 2.0, but couldn't seem to be able to hit the R1 no matter what settings or shafts were used. So a friend of mine recomended the stage 2 and I was instantly in love with it. I'm gonna be completely honest and say that my misses with my new driver are the good drives of my old driver and iv'e gained about 20 yards.
It may be just me but I'd rather have a gap wedge into a hole over an iron any day and this club makes it happen.
I would recommend this driver to any of my friends as well as to anybody deciding to buy this.

I thought so much about this club I decided to do my first review.I tried several at Dicks before the pro told me to give this driver a try, though I love TM irons ,I have never been fond of TM drivers. I am now sold,I have increased my lenght by 10 to 15 yards and I am being modest. The only con is lack of feedback,I kept saying I did not get all of that ,but when I got to my ball ,I was suprised at how far it went!

Ordered online without trying one. Played 18 holes (no time to go to the range) with my friends. Averaged 15 - 20 yds more than my Taylormade R7. I'm 73 yrs old, play with 10.5 loft, senior flex. Played 3rd time with it today and it is sweet. Out drove everyone in our foursome. Their ages are 61-71.

Went into Roger Dunn looking for a replacement for my Taylormade Burner which was getting long in the tooth. I was fitted with Rocketballz Stage 2 driver and fell in love with it in the simulator. Hit the course the next day and was pleasantly surpirised -gained on the avg of 10 yds per drive. I was hitting a club down on one of my normal tracks after the tee. Would recomend this driver to anyone. Make sure you get fitted so you know which setting is best for you.

I was mind set on walking into my local Golf store to buy a different manufactures driver
(a top notch driver in it's own right). as i was swinging away, i noticed that TaylorMade was having a "TaylorMade Launch Weekend". Someone from TaylorMade was there promoting the new equipment. he suggested to me "try this", the new "Rocketballz Stage 2". And after 5 swings, i was sold and bought the RBZ 2 right on the spot.
The other maker's Driver was now a distant memory.
Thanks to TaylorMade for being in the riht place at the right time.

Thrilled with the performance of the club. The rep worked with me to tune it to what brought even better performance. The rep (Joel) treated me upmost respect. Club added 14 yards vs my R9 and went from a fade to basically straight. Yes, buy it. TM would sell more clubs by gender neutral marketing: the name rocket ballz is goofy and the yellow headcover is ugly. Make the marketing match the performance and get more sales. Except for cosmetics, this club is better than advertised.
