The 18th at Royal Troon

“The Greatest Walk in Golf” — the celebratory Sunday stroll down the 18th fairway by a soon-to-be Open Champion.

Unfortunately, the 72nd hole at Royal Troon isn’t a guaranteed parade for the eventual winner. In fact, it is more likely to be a final hurdle than a walk in the park as players race to hoist the Claret Jug this weekend.


When a major championship is on the line and pressure is mounting, it is important to have a strategy in mind.
