Just finished my round with my new 5 M1 Rescue. Started my round off by running to the tee where I pulled my new M1 out and nailed my tee shot straight down the middle! First hole is a Par 4 with a pond just left of center approximately 185 yards out from the tee. I bought the new M1 as my old rescue was more draw biased and had a hard time keeping it straight not even speaking that a fade wasn't even possible. My second time I used it was on the 10th hole, another short Par 4 with a bunker out 195 yards from the tee. I thought this might be a good time to see if my new M1 would perform again as it did on the first tee and boy did it! Straight down the middle again leaving me 10 yards from going into the bunker. 1 fairway shot also resulted in a fantastic approach shot! Great Job Taylormade!!!
Traded my Titleist 915hd for the aeroburner. I liked the titleist but, constantly cleaning the junk out of the speed pocket was a real pain. The speed pocket in the aeroburner doesn't collect the dirt and grass, it just falls out, love that. I use my hybrid a lot and love this new aeroburner. Great, solid feel. Sets up nice and square. Lightweight but does not balloon at all. This club hits all the shots I need, low runner, high, draw, or fade. The only drawback I see is that it isn't adjustable, however, I actually like that because the look is cleaner without the adjustable hosel, and it seems better balanced to me. Great club!
First off, I have not been a TM fan in the past. I just got this club, and actually gave my fitter a dark glare when he handed me this club to try. I hit a few shots on a GC2 monitor just to compare this club with the other hybrids I was testing (Nike Vapor flex and Calloway Big Bertha Alpha). I couldn't believe how well the head with the Ozik shaft performed. I carried this club 15 yards further on average than my best shot with the other hybrids, and my dispersion tightened up. Again, I have ragged on TM for their constant new releases in the past, and I still am not a fan of the white club, but the cosmetics are pretty easy to overlook when the club performs so overwhelmingly well. The TP version has really come through, and I can't wait for this club to become a weapon for me on long Par 4's and Par 5's! My opinion of Taylormade has completely changed after purchasing this club
I like the black finish better then the white! Black hides the marks. Over the winter I replaced my 2012 RBZ driver, 5 fairway wood and my #3 and #4 rescue with new AeroBurner driver, 5 fairway wood and #3 and #4 rescue, all black in color. So far for me they are working super!!!
