extremely hard to find correct shaft,ad says 27 different shafts, good luck finding them. I went to 4 100000 sqft facilities with no success.I called their customer service(Adam)to find out if I could exchange the shaft I had used once.He informed me they don't exchange shafts but I could purchase one, because that shaft was used even though not a mark on it.
I have never been a taylormade enthusiast! Have played titleist and ping for years. My friend bought the m1 430 and tried it. sheeeesh was I impressed, and indeed taylormade got me on this driver. Was like didn't wanna support taylormade with all the hype about them. Excellent product because I pull most drivers that fit me left, this is either straight or slightly right which is great! TM also had me sold on the fairway wood 17 and 19. Shafts a little long, but cut'em down slightly and have everything great to say about 'em. I'm writing this today with their help on my game the least I could do was write a lil blurb about my experiences and this was in the cold weather in SOUTH CAROLINA. Maybe now the cap will stay in the single digits that would be sweet!
Currently playing the Taylormade RBZ Tour V1 driver, decided it was time to upgrade and have been a long time Taylormade advocate. Ordered the Aeroburner TP with the same shaft as my RBZ, have played 3 rounds and sounds dead and is about 15 yards shorter than the RBZ with a dead sound at impact.
I played three rounds with the beautiful SLDR Mini TP. Lost maybe 10 yards compared to my driver but decreased dispersion. Win-win. Unfortunately, I cracked two faces in two weeks. TM was nice enough to at least send an Aeroburner replacement. If you are all for the styling of the white then this will work. I am more keen on a classic, Bertha Mini 1.5 look. C'est la vie. nnThe club is simply great, looks aside. Every golf game is different but this club is perfect for someone that wants to enjoy being in the fairway/first cut more often than someone's backyard or chilling with Yogi the Bear as you look for your ball. I lost very few yards compared to my driver, not enough to justify keeping the big stick around. Hopefully this club lasts longer than my SLDRs. And maybe the styling will grow on me.
I had the R11 since it came out and it was time for a new driver. Tested the R15 with the stock shaft it was ok. The fitter had the TP with the Rogue Silver and it felt real good. Came home and ordered it from TM. Just some weight adjustment and it was going farther then my R11 ever went. I had some great drives with it. Thank you TM.
I am 54 and have been playing for 40 years. I've never had a lesson nor have I ever been fitted but now can understand why that might be very important. I hit this driver terrible with head set at standard and -2deg loft. At +2 deg loft I began striping the ball straight and long. I am convinced that if your swing is consistent, that this driver can be adjusted to your swing.
