Primarily used ProV1s or the ProV1x in the past but the TM Tour Preferred x is now my go too ball. Great distance, it added about 10 yards onto my irons and wedges. Awesome fell off the putter face. Additionally, its a great foul weather ball and living in New England this time of year that's an absolute must have.
I have played this ball for years and feel it is the best ball made. It is solid off the tee, holds its flight in the wind better than any other ball I have played (including the ProV1) and is great around the greens. I cannot think of a single weakness. Play this ball, you will be pleased.
Great ball for the money, I was looking for a ball to give me those few extra yards, however with the extra distance came a little more roll out than what I am used to. Took me about 6 holes to catch on. I realized for my game playing a ProV1 just made a dent in my wallet and not much to my score. Became a fan of TM equipment recently. Keep making good stuff!
I was really excited to try this ball given the price and other reviews. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The biggest downfall is that the ball spins way to much on drivers and mid/long irons. I lost at least a club and a half using these balls as compared to Titleist Pro V1x. I am not sure if this problem is isolated to faster swing speeds, as I do have a higher swing speed than most (~115), but regardless it was disappointing and now I'm left with 50 shag balls.
