I'm on the course playing 3-4 times a week. One of those is playing with my men's club weekly tournament. This is the most accurate driver I've ever had the pleasure of using. Not as far as my M1. However, I'm in the fairway with it at least 95% of the time.
extremely hard to find correct shaft,ad says 27 different shafts, good luck finding them. I went to 4 100000 sqft facilities with no success.I called their customer service(Adam)to find out if I could exchange the shaft I had used once.He informed me they don't exchange shafts but I could purchase one, because that shaft was used even though not a mark on it.
Primarily used ProV1s or the ProV1x in the past but the TM Tour Preferred x is now my go too ball. Great distance, it added about 10 yards onto my irons and wedges. Awesome fell off the putter face. Additionally, its a great foul weather ball and living in New England this time of year that's an absolute must have.
It's even more beautiful in person. The rich blue carbon fiber crown looks amazing and I love the color of the face. I've been told numerous times how nice the club looks. nnI decided to game it as opposed to framing it.
I have never been a taylormade enthusiast! Have played titleist and ping for years. My friend bought the m1 430 and tried it. sheeeesh was I impressed, and indeed taylormade got me on this driver. Was like didn't wanna support taylormade with all the hype about them. Excellent product because I pull most drivers that fit me left, this is either straight or slightly right which is great! TM also had me sold on the fairway wood 17 and 19. Shafts a little long, but cut'em down slightly and have everything great to say about 'em. I'm writing this today with their help on my game the least I could do was write a lil blurb about my experiences and this was in the cold weather in SOUTH CAROLINA. Maybe now the cap will stay in the single digits that would be sweet!
TM MB irons are excellent forged irons. Great smooth buttery feel. Look great at address and have perfect amount of offset. I do like the slightly larger heads. Most blades have a smaller head but TM got these right and designed them slightly bigger. Same size as Titleist CB irons. The sole is a little thin for my taste as I tend to dig more and prefer a little wider sole but is something I just to have to adjust to. nnThe KBS Tour shaft is really good shaft and has a lively feel. Very straight ball flight.
I've been gaming these irons since the day they came out and let me tell you, they won't disappoint. These irons give extraordinary feel and workability. The sleek top line really fits my eye and gives me the confidence that I need when setting up for a shot.nnPROS:nSleeknDurablenWorkablenGreat FeelnOff center hits give you immediate feedbacknnCONS:nThese clubs have weaker lofts than other Taylormade irons, so if you're switching from clubs with stronger lofts, expect to lose 5-10 yards per club.
Got a demo set from my local store. Been a ping user my whole life. Current using Ping S56 and Taylormade M1driver &5 wood. thought I would try these because not sure on when the next S model will come out. They feel great, look great but the release of the new M2 models has really got me thinking that why buys these when in a month or so there will be another model. You nearly had me Taylormade but I guess I will just wait for the Ping S54 to come out. A shame as they are a nice club!!
