This club performs even better than expected. I already hit the ball long but this is crazy distance. I hit a par 4 Hole in One last year at 315 yards with my RBZ Tour Driver but my distance with this new club has everybody looking. Taylormade just keeps getting better and better
This putter has fixed my putting woes. I was using a putter w a spherical design and the bulk of the weight centered in the middle. Also the aligning tool was two golf diameter circles that I could never adjust to. My first time w this spider putter w the perfect balance and I was putting better than I ever have. I also had never used a super grip and it felt great.
I received mine last week. I used it last Saturday and the club is as advertised. I think this is the much improved version of the Rocketballz Stage 2 fairway woods. Easier to hit and goes very far. Loved it.
This maybe the best ball ever created. The feel was absolutely amazing. Not too soft & not too hard, just right. I was also playing in sunny 55 degree weather so I'll have to wait until summer to get a better feel. But comparing it to the B330 which I consider a medium soft ball for me, the TPx felt a hair softer and much softer than the previous version. The real test for me when playing a softer ball is performance off the Tee; I could not believe how well the TPx behaved. I was averaging about 285yds in driving distance and my strong draws turned into a weak draw; pretty much straight shots. I also noticed this with my long & mid irons. As advertised the ball has low spin with the longer clubs. However I was able to stop multiple 6 & 7 iron approach shots from 175 to 190 yards. In fact my 7 iron spun back about 1.5 feet from 178 yds. I don't know how thats possible but it happened a couple times, usually I can only do this with a high spin ball.nnThe biggest take aways for me are:n1. Best ball off the Tee (distance + accuracy).n2. Incredible feel with all clubs.n3. Very easy to control especially around the greens.n4. Very predictable.nnI would definitely recommend you try this ball. You will be pleasantly surprised.
I'm a high ball hitter and found these club even higher than normal and they have a better trajectory with no ballooning. They look great when looking down at the head and have a great feel at contact. I find the same to be the case with the hybrids. Can't remember why I went to another brand a few years ago, but glad to be back with Taylormade.nThanks
I want to thank you for the sleeve of Project a balls. I played with them in a tournament and was really pleased with the performance. I just took off off the tee. and responded very well around the green. I have used Titleist NXT tour but am seriously considering changing to the Project a ball
I purchased this club yesterday after trying it out on simulator. I needed a #3 Hybrid, rescue club, since my set only went down to a #4. I am 52 years old, and have limited mobility due to arthritis. I was able to carry the ball 196 yards and total distance was 216 yards, middle of fairway. I forgot to mention mine has a regular flex shaft. Have not had a chance to use it on the course yet, but it seems that it will work a lot better for me than my 3 iron. Will add another comment after I get to use it in the real world.
Played TaylorMade metals since the R5. M1 was easy to fit with a number of shaft options and tracts. Compared side by side with R15 and SLDR on monitor and on the course. Added 10 to 15 yards. Second round played shot a 75. Of course the SLDR fairways, Tour Preferred CB irons also helped. Only disadvantage is the lower handicap that is trending even lower.
GOT A 15 DEGREE FAIRWAY. PREVIOUSLY USED A 117 DEGREE 3 FAIRWAY. NEW RESULT HIGHER FLIGHT AND A MOREPENETRATING BALL FLIGHT.IT MUST BE THE DESIGN AND NEW HEAD. I DON'T CARE BECAUSE IT WORKS!!! IN TWO DAYS WE HAD RAIN AND COLD WEATHER AND THE NEXT DAY IT WAS SUNNY AND WARMER. EITHER WAY THE CLUBWORK WELL ON BOTH DAYS.IT IS A SHAME THE END OF THE SEASON IS GETTING CLOSE. ALREADY PLANNING GOLF TRIPS NOW IN THE WARMER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY. ALREADY HAVE TWO FRIENDS WHO ARE GOING TO ORDER THEIRS, AFTER TRYING MINE OUT.THEY DID NOT WANT TO GIVE IT BACK TO ME.
I never knew control until i purchased these wedges. Consistency and accuracy are the epitome for tour preferred. I saw such an improvement in my game I also purchased the PSi irons. My handicap has not rolled over yet but it's trending to a 13 after the first 3 rounds.
I golfed at Crosswinds in Plymouth, MA the other day with my aunt. She had this club in her bag and was raving about it and how effective and forgiving it is, especially for getting out of the rough. I tried it and could not believe how well I hit it. Getting out of the rough is not my strength; what a difference this club made. I actually hit it 150 yeards from the rough onto the green! We were convinced I was actually trying to get in the rough just so I could use it again!nI had her take a picture of it when we were done playing so I could purchase one for myself- I am a teacher, so I will have to wait until the fall when I start getting paid again, but it will be worth my extra tutoring money!nIt is truly a perfect weight, easy to handle and grip, but most of all, I loved how I played with it.
Fantastic Club! Solid off the tee and fairway. Love it!!

Just finished my round with my new 5 M1 Rescue. Started my round off by running to the tee where I pulled my new M1 out and nailed my tee shot straight down the middle! First hole is a Par 4 with a pond just left of center approximately 185 yards out from the tee. I bought the new M1 as my old rescue was more draw biased and had a hard time keeping it straight not even speaking that a fade wasn't even possible. My second time I used it was on the 10th hole, another short Par 4 with a bunker out 195 yards from the tee. I thought this might be a good time to see if my new M1 would perform again as it did on the first tee and boy did it! Straight down the middle again leaving me 10 yards from going into the bunker. 1 fairway shot also resulted in a fantastic approach shot! Great Job Taylormade!!!

Off The Tee
My son went from a plus 9 to a plus 2 with this club his 1st time out. His average drive was 180. He hit the club 5 times off the tee box during his 9 hole game. On the 5th shot he crushed it 230 yards with a beautiful draw off of an elevated tee box. It was an aha moment that the golf God's bestowed upon him. His confidence soared! 5 pars and birdied the last 2 holes. Great driver! Great game! Looking forward to the fall tournament season!
I just got my iron/hybrid/fairway woods yesterday. I was a little concerned about the set being heavy on the hybrid side, but I was hitting them great at the range. I will try them out at the course this weekend. This set is a little bit lighter than my previous clubs. Will properly save up to get the driver next. Only gave 4 stars because I have not tested them on the course yet, but I expect them to be top notch.
I SHOULD BE A TAYLOR,MADE UNOFFICIAL REP.nDURING TWO DIFFERENT ROUNDS OF GOLF I LET THREE OF MY BUDDIES TRY MY MI DRIVER AND 3 WOOD.RESULT WAS I HAD TO BEG THEM TO GIVE IT BCK TO ME. THEY HAVE PUT THIER OWN DRIVER IN THE GARAGE AND WENT RIGHT OUT AFTER THE ROUND AND BOUGHT THEIR OWN M1 DRIVER AND 3 WOOD. OR SHOULD I SAY UNMETAL WOOD. RESULT WAS ONE CALLAWAY, AND TWO TITLELEST ARE NOW OLD HISTORY.
This is the first new putter I've bought in 10 years and it was well worth the wait. I love the looks - so far my putting is as good as it has ever been this early in the season. The Super Stroke grip allows me to have a nice, relaxed grip and thus far I haven't pushed or pulled many putts - I love it and it was worth every penny. I was also extremely happy that it came with a putter head cover which I see isn't always the case - it is a thing of beauty. Despite the large head I find it to not feel at all heavy - I mean it does have some weight to it but it swings very freely - ie it doesn't feel like I'm having to drag it thru the ball - a nice easy arc back and thru - again well worth the wait. Would buy again but honestly I hope this is my last putter - I'm that pleased with it. The craftsmanship is solid.
I am a 21 handicap. I just played my second round with this combo set and shot my lowest round ever on the front 9, a 2 over par 38. I am amazed at the feel, loft, and distance of the irons. The 4 & 5 hybrids are long and forgiving. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm looking forward to improving my game and lowering my handicap. Thanks TaylorMade!
I lost my Pitching wedge to my RSI 1 set and used that as an excuse to by all new wedges. Bought a PW, 2 AWs, and a SW. I immediately got them all bent to the degrees I like to play (44, 48, 52, 56). I love the way they hit. Nice and soft feeling off the face, but good pop. nnI must admit, I don't love hitting the traditional wedge. I have trouble feeling the club face because they all feel so light to me. I can feel the head much better with these. I originally gave them a shot because they looked more like my normal irons, which I tend to hit better than my wedges.nnBeing forged, they are more adjustable as well. Overall, I am very happy with these clubs. These helped negate what I would call a weakness in my game - inconsistent wedge contact.
Had a fitting with the TaylorMade fitter. Compared it to my Mizuno 825 Pros. Psi feels just as good and cuts through the grass like butter. Gained about 7 yards from the 7 iron. With a KBS Tour C-taper shaft it was perfectly weighted. Looks sharp and the side/under cut cavities does keep dispersion smaller and my worm burner (1) actually carried a bit more than my 825 Pro.
Tremendous Control - Love Them - Not really marketed by TM

Even though the M2 TOUR was released on 3-15-2016, I have only been able to find two reviews online, both from British pros. I guess they are for a niche market.nnThe clubs are tremendous. They have many of the attributes of the mass market M2 base model. Those are marketed as an ultra-high game improvement iron for high handicappers. nnThe M2 TOUR on the other hand, is a slimmed down version with great workability. Hitting fades and draws are easy. The top line and sole are noticeably thinner.nnWhat I liked the best about them and what you can feel in the first swing, is the low center of gravity. The ball flies high and far. It almost feels like the first time I picked up an Adams rescue club 25 years ago. (Adams, a division of TaylorMade).nnAfter hitting them on the range and supposedly dialing in my distances for 1.5 hours I headed out to the Ballantyne Golf Club for 18 holes. On the first hole a long par four, I had 179 yards to the pin remaining. Normally I hit a 4 iron 180 yards. I ended up overflying the green and hitting it 190. nnThey come standard with an True Temper XP steel shaft 95 grams. Others are available and I tried the 105 gram KBS but it slowed my swing speed down by 4 mph.nnI am a life long golfer age 55, playing to a 14 handicap. I play 3 times per month but hit range balls more frequently.nnThis club is a gem and I highly recommend it. Well dome TaylorMade.
I have the KBS Tour 90 shaft which I really like. It is light with a great trajectory and feel. I can feel the club head much better than with my AP2's using True Temper s/l shafts or Rocketbladz TM with Nippon shafts.nDistance control is consistent and feel around the greens is phenomenal.
