My son is on his High School golf team. His coach advised he needed a new driver just as the season was beginning. He selected the R15 but upon receiving it his drives were significantly worse. We figured he just needed it to break it in. 4 weeks in drives were worse still. Yesterday at a tournament the driver broke on the 7th hole. Had to play he rest of the tournament without a driver. He's a lefty & I was sharing my frusrration with the other parents & I heard there is a problem with TM for lefties. I've never known my son to beat or abuse a club so I don't think he was particularly hard on it. I think we just got a bum club. I will work with the retailer & TM and if they are kind enough to help us with this issue I will come back & adjust this review.
I had the standard 5 wood and exchanged it for the TP HL. What a difference the shaft made. I hit the the 5 wood okay but the 3 wood TP is a beast. A typical 3 wood for me is about 240 yds. First day out I hit a few shots over 270 yds. Just ordered 19 degree hybrid
I had the R11 since it came out and it was time for a new driver. Tested the R15 with the stock shaft it was ok. The fitter had the TP with the Rogue Silver and it felt real good. Came home and ordered it from TM. Just some weight adjustment and it was going farther then my R11 ever went. I had some great drives with it. Thank you TM.
