TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff Professional Peter Hanson Wins KLM Open

Back-to-Back European Tour Wins for R11S Driver and First for New Ghost Spider S Prototype Putter

CARLSBAD, Calif. (September 9, 2012) – TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff Professional Peter Hanson drained a long eagle putt on the 72nd hole today at Hilversumsche GC to claim a two-stroke victory at the KLM Open in Hilversum, The Netherlands.

Hanson, who began the day two strokes back, struck the ball beautifully in the final round with his R11S driver and Tour Preferred  MB irons. He climbed to the top of the leader board and found himself in a tie for the lead after 16. The European Ryder Cup player then slammed the door shut with a monster eagle putt on 18 using TaylorMade's new Ghost Spider S prototype, a multi-material (aluminum and steel) mallet with an off-the-charts MOI of 5,800. The new Ghost Spider S will be available at retail 11/1.

Hanson became the first Swede to win the KLM Open. It was also the fifth European Tour victory for Hanson, who will soon head to Medinah  to join the European Team at the 2012 Ryder Cup.
